Daze Of The Week

An Ode to Blogging…

I wish I could blog, I just can’t. Now I, for one, know that you can never accomplish anything by telling yourself right off the bat that you can’t do it, but I HAVE tried, tried and tried, and tried… then I found tumblr, which is mostly for looking at pretty pictures and quotes…

How I wish I could handle a blog-blog, an honest-to-god blog… people have told me I’m funny, but my humor is like cheap chinese food, sure you feel satisfied right after you eat it, but twenty minutes later, you’re just hungry again. On top of that, only interesting people have blogs.. now I’ve heard that I’m “inTERestTING…” but I not poetic enough to write poetry while hiking through woods, nor am I a fashionable jet setter. I’m just Todd, Donna to some, and I cannot handle the complete blankness of an empty text box.

So I’ll make the most of my humble Tumblr, and perhaps one day, the blogging gods will enlighten me, and invite me through the pearly gates into the blogging nirvana.

Lets hope so… :)
